Out of Town: There are no barriers to you having your surgery performed in the Los Angeles area. We have many patients coming from around the US and internationally to have surgery performed by our expert thyroid and parathyroid surgeons. In most cases you can fly-in, have surgery, and return home in less time than it would take to have your procedure performed in your home state. We will work with you and your insurance company to arrange authorization and payment for your procedure. Thyroid surgery is not performed regularly by most surgeons. Most physicians only perform 1-4 of these procedures a year. At the institute we may perform as many procedures in one week.
